Our bespoke wooden windows are all made from knot-free pine wood. All windows are double glazed and have inbuilt seals to make them even more temperature resistant and energy efficient. We use 4mm glass as standard but extra thick 6mm glass can or may be used depending on the window size and safety requirements. Thicker glass also ensures very good noise reduction as well as increased safety. If you would like all glazing to be done in 6mm then we can prepare a quotation based on that for you. For the inner side layer, we recommend using energy efficient selective glass which in cold seasons will reflect up to 70% of the inside heat back in to the room, keeping your home warm and in hot seasons it will maintain a pleasant ambiance thanks to its ability to reflect the cooler indoor temperatures. Our wooden windows are all made to measure.
